Church of His Presence

This project is a multi-phase project for the Church of His Presence. The church was renting space from the City of Mobile's Convention Center for its Sunday Worship. Unfortunately this required them to suspend services for two months out of the year during Mardi Gras. The church decided it was time to construct its own facility. The initial concepts proposed issues as portions of the site experienced flooding during heavy rains. Working with the design team, we were able to create a concept that protected the improvements from flooding and provided the church with a product they were pleased with.  The first building phase is complete and consists of a temporary worship facility (24,000 square feet). The site work consists of a parking lot with over 500 spaces, left and right turn lanes along State Highway 181, utility infrastructure, and storm drainage with detention.  The church is currently performing preliminary investigations for the second phase.  Concepts include a permanent worship facility (45,000 square feet) and an office building with additional parking.
