This project is a redevelopment of an existing Home Depot Shopping Center.  The West Marine building is approximately 20,000 sf and the parking lot contains 90 parking spaces.  In working with the client and Home Depot, we had to ensure that all of the remaining parcels had available stormwater capacity in the detention pond.  In order to meet water quality requirements of the Northwest Florida Water Management District we designed the stormwater pond to infiltrate the water quality volume via a sand chimney.  We also installed an oil skimmer on the overflow structure to prevent oils from leaving the site.
